What was the highlight of TMK Marine Beach

Very good value for money, but feel this resort would not be for everyone

The staff were really friendly and a special shout out for Sayad Aloui who made our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and he made each lunch time and evening a pleasure. The hotel was a little tired in places, but overall very clean and comfortable. All in all very good value for money. The pool and beach were lovely and there was constant entertainment if you wanted to get involved. The food was adequate and the beer was fine.

The place could do with a lick of paint in places and the surrounding area was a little bit dirty. Although we felt safe going out of the resort, there wasn't much to see. We did go on a Train excursion, but it was a bit of a waste of time to be honest. If you are a wine drinker then you will be disappointed with what's on the All inclusive menu!!

Good

Good location, comfortable rooms, nice swimming pool and spa. Friendly staff.

Hotel itself needed a bit of maintenance. Music playing from the animation box at the pool was a bit loud for those wanting to relax with a book. We played tennis and the court surface was lifting up, the net couldn’t be made higher and the racquets needed to be replaced.

The hotel can use a bit of an upgrade. It would be a bonus if they had waiters at the beach to serve you.

Whom ever says this property is a 4 star rating is crazy! More like a 2 star. Sorry to be bluntly honest here folks but

The moment I checked out!

Extremely out dated property. Everything from Bathroom fixtures broken, towels that are some shade of white- really old and frayed, lights in the main hallways to the rooms not working in a large area, staff walking by cutlery and napkins on the floor and ignoring it, not picking them up. Staff member working with me on a question only to be interrupted three times to work with other guests when I was the only guest around to start. Very ignorant and disrespectful. Wait…there’s more! Arriving to my room to find the bathroom sink with a yellow & pink substance on the counter. See Pics. The toilet not cleaned. Rust on the shower walls. Breakfast was hit & miss. Lunch and dinner buffets were great.

A little bit particular staff management but OK for few days stay.Far away from European 4star level

I staid 3 nights, basically the hotel is fine for few days stay, nice beach and pool. The food was good, always offer some local dishes. Staff is very kind, they have some animators that always try to interact with guests, which sometimes leads to situation of bothering, definitely is not professional such kind of approach.

Tip tip tip

Nice beach. The food was OK, sometimes a bit bland and repetitive. The bed was not that bad, which is OK for Tunisia.

The staff is kind only if you tip them constantly. Only the animation team works without tip. The reception changes money with a very bad exchange rate. All the installations are falling apart. Drinks and especially wine are not drinkable.

Satisfactory hotel on the beach that needs few improvements

Hotel relatively new having a nice local architecture located on a beautiful beach. Free food and drinks available almost during the whole day. Good location on the beach, close to the main road and to other hotels. The animation team is very cool and professional, suggesting fun activities without being too annoying. The standard room was spacious and clean. The hotel has 2 swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor), a moorish cafe offering delicious mint tea, a bar with a nice outside terrace and a theater for night entertainment.

Lack of food quality sometimes: tasteless pasta and desserts. Clean tablecloths are not always available during the 3 meals and waiters sometimes all they do is reversing dirty ones used by other customers. The restaurant service needs thus some improvement to match 4-star hotels standards. Despite her efforts, the receptionist Ines needs further training as she never smiles and she does not deal with residents with hospitality. I booked the hotel with my brother a week before the arrival and we did arrive, it turns out the sea view room we chose was not available so she told us we had no other choice except taking the standard room and she was not willing to offer a compensation until we asked. She also said twice that the hotel is "for families" and that she could refuse our booking as we are two single young men while the booking was done a week before and we are respectful customers who have been to excellent hotels all around the world.

it was ok but for the money we paid it was not nice

beach was ok, pool too and the daily animation program as well

food quality was not ok, internet in the room was not available most of the time, drinks generally at all locations were not always available or with bad quality. although complaining about the internet issue many times, nothing happened to fix it. the bathroom was having some dirty spots which could not be removed same like the fridge

Decent and fair stay.

Food was fine. Staff was nice and friendly.

Lack of sunbeds which leads to people "reserving" them with towels. The clientele was not the best, some would jump in front of you to get food, some were noisy in the pool slamming onto the water with floaters or jumping in them splashing everywhere.

Lovely hotel, great value but air con needs improving!

The hotel, facilities and food are excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and the pool area is very clean and relaxing. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. The food was also very good and varied over the 5 days we stayed.

The air conditioning was broken during our first night and when fixed kept cutting out so we woke up sweating which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The towels also look very old and could do with replacing.

Great staff and a beautiful facility

The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The facility itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with almost everything you could ask for in a resort—beach access, a great pool, and more.

I was a bit disappointed with a few aspects of my stay. The WiFi connection was quite weak throughout most of the resort, which made it difficult to fully enjoy my time there. The food variety could definitely be improved, and I noticed that some of the cooks weren’t wearing gloves while preparing meals, which was a bit concerning. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facility could use some attention, as there were areas that didn’t meet the standard I was hoping for. While there are some great features, these issues did affect my overall experience.
